its all about money
i cant believe i went all the way to sengkang to do the law project man.
im a very kuku girl, i have never, ever went to sengkang before until now LOL. luckily the lonely trip is not very boring with mp3 and psp's loco roco 2 on hand =P
my groupmates are a brunch of funny fellows. our project topic is on the legalisation of the sale of body organs. i was against legalising it and i was telling them that if the organs were to cost like 20k each then the poor will not have enough money to afford it while the rich can buy all the organs they want as long as they have the money. and guess what my groupmates reply? "oh, then too bad, they can only wait to die lor!" in a joking tone. and i exclaim, "WA U ALL SO EVIL ONE AH!" hahaha evil yet true =.= and one of them proceeded to say "aiya can one la, pay by installment can liao! when u buy TV also can pay by installment ma" and in the end we chose to legalise it because they say the government can subsidise some amount for the poor and let them pay by installment WTH so funny right. i wonder how they can compare organs with TVs lor, they are not similar at all right =.=
sigh, life is so unfair right. the rich can buy anything they want and the poor can only sell their valuable parts in order to survive.
and my groupmate told me that there's this movie called "seven pounds". it is about a guy who accidentally killed seven people in a car crash and he is very guilty, so guilty to the extend that he went to find seven people who really needs help(organs) or they'll die, and then he killed himself so that he can donate his organs to them. the movie is called seven pounds because he donated his heart to a girl(with a weak heart) that he met and falls in love with. and yup, his heart weighs seven pounds. hmm interesting story, i wana watch it online when im free.
yes it is very touching. however reality tells me that there is no such man on earth who will sacrifice his life for other strangers. only money counts in this world. omg reality sucks :(
term test is coming soon. i have tons of projects and quizzes that piles up like a mountain. gotta go read through my notes for the graded lab. omg boring notes :(
